Christian Music

[Stryper]Here’s an interesting exchange that occurred in our home group last week:

“So the music you’d play at open mics — would it be Christian music?”
“The music would be Christian, but not the lyrics.”

I love it. All the Christian-music purists can stick that in their pipes and smoke it.

As an American missionary kid who grew up in Japan, I'm a child of two cultures, while not fully belonging to either. This gives me a sightly different view of the world.

  2. What, no one took the bait and jumped in to disagree, or at least go “huh”? Chris was the only one to ask me, via iChat.
(…Speaking of iChat, as my “About Me” page notes, my AIM name is the same as my email address, which you can get by clicking “Email Me” on that page. If you read blog one another, feel free to IM me. If you don’t read blog one another, what are you doing here?)
    Hi Laila!

  3. When did “Christian” become an adjective?
