One of Each

[One of Each]So One of Each on Wednesday night was a terrific show. I guess if I had to put a label on their act, I’d call it A Capella Comedy — they are not only skillful, but utterly hilarious. It is inspiring to watch a team have so much fun together as they do what they do.

Mike was their sound man for the evening and I got to sit right next to him — best seat in the house. Thanks Mike!

One of their songs was “What Would Jesus Drive?” I wonder if they realize that besides being a funny song, it is a serious question for our day — one which most WWJD-wearers probably have not given any consideration to.

…Now I’m getting all serious when they’re just plain funny. See them if you get the chance! (I won’t spoil things by telling you what they do with the rubber chicken…)

I’m not sure _what_ He’d drive, but I think I know _how_ He’d drive.
He’d use his turn signals.  He’d slow down to make room for people merging into traffic.  He’d smile at other drivers.  He’d leave a little room between His and the car He’s following.  He’d give a wave of thanks when someone gave him some room to change lanes.  He’d move out of the left lane if He weren’t passing anyone.  He’d take pity on those who pulled some jackass stunt to get in front of him, for they must be under a lot of stress.
He’d set a good example for everyone who saw Him.

Personally, I think he’d take the train. Mass transit is much more ecologically friendly.
