Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. I have been wondering what to do during these 40 days, and thanks to Rich, I have something: Journey to the Cross, an online devotional.

…Just learned something from jonnybaker: If you count the number of days from now to Easter, you end up with more than 40. That’s because the Sundays are not included in the count.

Unless you’re Eastern Orthodox. Then you start Lent on the Monday of the 7th week before Easter and end it on the Friday 9 days before Easter. Sundays are counted.
