That must make me a grand-blog-child because I started as a result of Birgit and she started because of you… of course there was that Keck influence too, so that makes me a bit of a mutt I guess.

It took a while for me to figure out just how important is was to be connected in a community in the way that blogs connect us to each other. I must say that you and Liz are some of the first hardcore bloggers I have known. About a year ago I started a photobloging. In October of last year I started to post my first text blog entry. As a result I have deepened may friendships and found a few new ones along the way.
So thanks you have inspired me.
Well your blog was the first I’d ever heard about, and I did start a blog as a result–but I don’t keep it up, does that count?
Barely, Helen, just barely. But you are being fairly consistent in posting once every few months.
