The USAmerica gathering of the Soliton Sessions is coming up: August 9-12 in Ventura. I am sad to say I will not be going this time—my first absence ever. The Sessions have been something that sustains me from year to year, a chance to share worship, food, laughter and conversation (both serious and silly, sometimes both at the same time) with the nicest bunch of radicals who want to transform this world by living the way of Jesus.
If you have never been, you owe it to yourself. And go for a homestay, not a hotel.

Great plug here. I second it all – especially the homestay part. I too am unable to make the pilgrimage this year after being at the past three events. Sad but excited for the relationships and conversations that will take place.
