In the same vein as the singing horses comes one for the season: click a deer for holiday cheer. (And once you’ve clicked all the deer, click Santa.)
The kids liked this one a lot. Thanks to my buddy Chris on Noelle’s gang-blog.
And here’s one via jonnybaker: the alternative nativity story, Terry Gilliam style. (link is broken)
And finally, one from ex-blogger Jor: If Jesus appeared to hard-core gamers, what would he do? First, this site is edgy and probably not for kids. Jor says Double Dash is a video game (it sounds like a racing game) and “blue sparks” are displayed when you do an awesome job at power-turning. Jor sez: “Some may find this totally sacrilegious, but I can totally see Jesus doing this. He’s speaking their language.”

It seems that webroo.org (for the alternative nativity story) is a by permissions only site. We can’t get to it from work or home. Oh well, the kids got a kick out of the other two links
I was expecting something ALOT more offensive then that! Ewwwww, Jesus says the “S” word!! *Sarcasm entoned*. That’s sooooo, sacriligious! Lol! I worry about anyone that is offended by that. Legalism alert!!
I dug it! And I think it made a great point. Jesus would (and does) totally do that! He would definitely throw down in some Double Dash (though I have no idea what said game is).
Well, thanks for the link. And, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
we wish you would blog again…
=)
