[They Might Be Giants]Went to see They Might Be Giants last night. Those guys are terrific. (You can hear a random song at their dial-a-song site.) I have a bumper sticker outside my office that says, “Play an accordion / Go to prison / That’s the law” but for these guys I make an exception.
It was also interesting to be in a venue filled with normal, drunk people. I’m with normal people all day at work, but not like that. God loves these people. I wish I could show them, somehow. …And I guess that’s why I accepted the invitation to go out with my good friend. (Besides, how can TMBG not be fun.)

    I’ve always really liked TMBG. You’re right, their just plain addictive and fun! I’m not intimately familiar with their work, but I dig the song that has the line “build a little bird house in your soul”. And, for some odd reason I don’t own any of their stuff. Hmmmm, strange. Well, sounds like you had a good time. And that’s good!! :)
