Yesterday I watched Noelle, Carl, Wendy, Esther, Esther’s coworker, her brothers, and her mom (!) hurl themselves from an airplane 15,000 feet up. Another coworker chickened out (I still can see Noelle mocking the video camera saying “You’re a pussy!”) so I was asked if I wanted to join in. No.

However, once was enough for me. And for my then 6-month-old nursing baby (back in 1998), who was very glad to be back in my arms again when I returned safely to the ground.
A couple weeks ago, David’s mom (in her 60′s) skiied a zip line which starts on a steep ski slope which then drops off and you keep going…David and Jason did it too. Hanging in the sky with skis and poles dangling…then you eventually rappel down to the ground way below…
That is a kind of fun I am quite happy to leave to others…
