As an American missionary kid who grew up in Japan, I'm a child of two cultures, while not fully belonging to either. This gives me a sightly different view of the world.

  1. Dude? Is that for real? Insane!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  2. Aki,
Dude, totally insane. Apparently having a photographer on a dive is not a regular thing, but since it was Christmas, they sent one along equipped with the Santa hats.
    Merry Christmas to you!

  3. No fair! I didn’t even know you were a diver or you could have come along with me and Dave C. on numerous dives of the Monterey/Carmel coast!

  4. Randall, I’m not! The three of us took a “resort course” for novices and non-certified guests. Kay was certified years ago but had trouble digging it up in time — but it’s just as well, so much has changed.
This diving thing could become addictive. I am considering whether to go for certification.

  5. Jon, I think Kay really made a nice choice for the Christmas surprise! Wow. David and I took a resort course on our honeymoon in the British Virgin Islands and loved it so much we went two more times in the next 10 days. Lots of fun.
