Windows virus

Yesterday, there were computer virus warnings all over work, as the latest virus spread around the world attacking Windows systems. Oy.

When I got home, Kay & I were unable to get online for a few hours. I suspect that our Internet provider uses Windows systems and had to shut down. D’oh! Folks, do yourself a favor: a) Don’t use Windows if you can avoid it. b) If you do use Windows, keep your security patches up-to-date.

…Hey, even Jesus switched to a Mac.

What’s up with everyone switching to Macs? Seriously, what am I missing out on?

Jeph, Macs aren’t for everybody, mainly because the software you use may not be available. …But in practice, that limitation hardly excludes anybody. Windows has become nicer because Microsoft liberally “borrows” ideas from Apple. (There was a big settlement over this a few years ago.) So for me, I’d rather go with the people who are inventing the good ideas — and continuing to do so. Overall, Macs provide a great user experience.
Hey, no one’s commented on the Jesus “switcher” pseudo-ad? Come on, this is hilarious!
