Work or Ski?

When I got the job, I thought, “Oh well, I guess the family will go skiing without me.” I expected the “Come in tomorrow morning” phone call any day. What I got instead was, “Uh, we need to order your equipment. We’re hurrying as fast as we can,” to which I replied, “No hurry! Can I go skiing instead?”

When you’re unemployed, you can’t wait for a job. But once you get a job, hey, push it off as far as you can.

++ Thank you for this unexpected gift of enjoying a week away with my precious family. ++

Ski! Especially this week. Good snow, empty slopes (spring break is over).
It is funny how we focus energy and conserve cash while looking for work, but, once the offer is there, you want to stall it off as long as possible, to finally have fun.
Check out the lift ticket discounts, google on “discount lift tickets” and your favorite resort.
